This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to CablePay subscription plans and credit purchases. Please read it carefully before making a payment.
1. Subscription Plans
CablePay offers monthly, quarterly and yearly subscription plans for operators. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once a plan is activated, subject to the exceptions below.
1.1 Free Trial
New operators may receive a 7-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without being charged.
1.2 Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be granted in the following cases:
- Duplicate Payment — if the same payment is captured twice due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
- Service Unavailability — if CablePay is unable to make the Service available to you for more than seven (7) consecutive days due to our fault, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused period.
- Incorrect Charge — if you are charged for a plan you did not authorise.
2. Credit Purchases
Credits purchased to create STB numbers or access paid features are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase only if:
- No credits from the purchase have been used, AND
- The request is made in writing to support@cablepay.in.
3. Subscriber Bill Payments
Payments made by cable subscribers (end customers) to their operator through the CablePay platform are directly between the subscriber and the operator. CablePay is only a facilitator. Refund disputes for subscriber payments must be raised with the operator concerned. Operators are expected to process such refunds through their payment gateway dashboard within a reasonable time.
4. Cancellation
4.1 Cancellation by the User
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard under Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — the Service continues until then, after which no further charges will be made.
4.2 Cancellation by CablePay
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your account for breach of our Terms & Conditions, non-payment, or misuse of the Service. No refund is due in case of cancellation for breach.
5. Refund Process & Timeline
Eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment source within 7 to 10 business days of approval. Depending on the issuing bank, the amount may reflect in your account within a further 3–5 business days.
6. How to Request a Refund
Write to support@cablepay.in with the subject "Refund Request" and include:
- Registered email/phone
- Transaction ID / order number
- Reason for refund
